3 Wardrobe Assistants & 1 Senior Stage Technician

Wanted for Birmingham Royal Ballet, BRB is a large scale touring ballet company performing 4 seasons a year at Birmingham Hippodrome plus approximately 10-12 weeks of touring throughout the UK & abroad, they wish to fill 4 permanant contracts ( subject to 6 month probationary period )

2 Mens Wardrobe Assistants & 1 Ladies Wardrobe Assistant, to assist The Deputy Head of Wardrobe in the alteration,repair & maintanance of costumes for rehersals & performances in Birmingham & on tour, a high standard of sewing skills is essential.

Also 1 Senior Stage Technician, reporting to The Deputy Master Carpenter, you will pay a key part delivering technical excellence in performance & rehersal, preferbly applicants will have a minimum of 5years technical experience working in large theatres including flying, rigging & general stage craft, proven team leadership & IT skills are essential. The BBC's prime time 'The Culture Show'

 

The Culture Show needs audience members for filming the links section with

presenter Lauren Laverne (XFM, Transmission C4).

The links are filmed at a venue in central London and they're looking for 40 to 50 people each week to appear in the background having a drink and chatting to each other!

They'll also be filming live performances from guests on the show (previous guests include Sting, Squarepusher and Jamie-T) and filming interview with guests (previous guests include Gael Garcia Bernal, Squarepusher and Tom Dyckhoff), and will need the audience to appear in these sections also.

 

Filming is from 10.00am to 3.00pm, usually on a Tuesday. There is no fee for appearing,

but refreshments and lunch are provided.; It's a fun day and an exciting opportunity

to see well-known celebs up close, exclusive performances and an opportunity to see

a BBC location shoot from the inside.

 

They're looking for young, fashionable people who are able to take direction from

the crew - students especially welcome! This is a GREAT opportunity to get some

work experience by taking direction etc
